HANNAH YOGA
WHO IS HANNAH?
I started my Yoga journey to heal an injury. Like most yogini's out there, I quickly discovered that Yoga is so much more than the shapes. I was totally disconnected from myself, so much so that I didn't even realise that yoga was gently nudging me back to my true self. Now my goal is to share that wisdom with you, dear reader, and the reason why I started Hannah Yoga.
Originally from New Zealand, I up-rooted my family to move to Brisbane at the height of the Pandemic and have loved integrating myself into the community. As a mother of two beautiful children and a ginormous cat, Ken, I understand the pressures of a busy life and how easily we can become disconnected from ourselves.
I also have a degree in Psychology, which lends itself to a fresh perspective to Westernized Yoga teaching. Through a strong focus on mental health and how our experiences are stored and released from the body, we create great alignment.
I am a 200 RYT, specializing in Vinyasa style and I utilize Yogic Philosophy and Western Psychology to inform my practice. My goal with you is to create a calming and supportive environment from which you can bloom into your authentic self.
Through my teaching and starting this business, I hope to offer others the tools and techniques I have picked up along the way, and help you to rediscover your authentic selves.
